Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the TechEvangelistSEO website (techevangelistseo.com) and the TechEvangelistSEO mobile app (Android).
We don't store your URLs, we don't know who you are, and we don't sell anything to anyone. Your download history stays on your device only.
1. Account Data
TechEvangelistSEO does not require user registration or account creation. We do not collect or store:
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Names or usernames
- Passwords
- Any personal identification information
2. Data We Process
When you use our service, we temporarily process:
- Video URLs: Submitted URLs are processed server-side to fetch video information and are deleted immediately after the download completes. We never store URLs in any database.
- IP Address: Used temporarily for rate limiting to prevent abuse. Not stored in any database. Auto-deleted after 60 seconds.
- Download History: Stored locally on your device only (browser localStorage or app internal storage). This data is never transmitted to our servers.
3. Mobile App Permissions (Android)
Our Android app requests the following permissions:

4. Third-Party Services
Our service may integrate with the following third parties:

- Ad Networks: We may display ads from Monetag, AdsTerra, and Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies and device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
- Sentry: Crash reporting for app stability (no personal data collected)

We do NOT:
- Sell your personal data
- Share your URLs with third parties
- Transfer data outside our servers (except for ad networks as noted above)
- Allow third parties to access your download history
6. Security
- TLS 1.3 encryption: All connections are encrypted
- Isolated processing: Download processing runs in memory with no database access
- No data persistence: URLs are processed and immediately deleted
- Secure storage: Downloaded files are stored in your device's private storage
7. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
8. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You have full control over your data:
- Access: Since we don't store personal data, there's nothing to access
- Deletion: Clear your local download history in the app settings
- Opt-out: Decline analytics via the consent banner on the website
- Do Not Track: We honor DNT browser settings
9. Data Retention
- Video URLs: Deleted immediately after download completes
- Temporary files: Auto-deleted after 1 hour maximum
- Rate limit records: Deleted after 60 seconds
- Download history: Stored locally on your device until you delete it
10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies:
- Cloudflare security cookie: DDoS protection (30 minutes)
- Session cookie: Rate limiting (session only)
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 (only after explicit consent)
